JML Electric was founded by Joseph Edwards in 1998 to service Vaughan and the auto plants north of Toronto. JML was selected as the preferred electrical contractor for the Toronto International Airport after just one year in business. We also assisted our provincial government at Ontario Place from 1999 to 2010, troubleshooting their infrastructure and helping their vendors get their equipment powered-up and ready each summer. In 2012, we expanded our services to include aerial trucks to service sports field lighting arrays and to do LED retrofits in large parking lots.
JML Electric Relocates to Oakville
When JML Electric relocated to Oakville, our business changed to service more residential and small businesses clients; we’ve become the go-to service company for people seeking help improving the electrical service at their homes and in their retail shops. We have lots of experience installing whirlpools, hot tubs, and pizza ovens, and designing and installing indoor and outdoor lighting schemes. In the years that followed, we’ve secured commercial lighting energy rebates from Ontario Hydro for over 5000 clients because we know which criteria is most favourable for grants.
Commercial electricians, we helped Wind Mobile assemble and power up forty cell towers and other sites from 2007 – 2009. We’re very knowledgeable with regards to installing electric vehicle charging stations, and we helped Tesla establish their Destination Charging sites in gas stations, hotels, tourist landmarks, including Niagara region wineries across Ontario from 2012 to 2015. Since that time we’ve put Level 2 EV chargers in over ten thousand homes across the Greater Toronto Area. Additionally, we’ve done:
